Introduction [Biosketch]

  • Dr. Gaurav Singh Baghel was born in Basna (CG), India, in 1990. He received the B.E. degree from Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai, India, in 2010, M. Tech degree in Microwave Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India, in 2012, He completed PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2017. He was Post-Doctoral Fellow at UNIST, South Korea for 11 months and worked on Remote detection of radioactive materials using millimetre wave signal (95 GHz). His area of interest is High Power Microwave (sub-THz/THz) Sources (basically Gyrotron oscillators) for plasma science. His current research area is multi-frequency operation of gyrotron.
