    जिमखाना परिषद के बारे में

    जिमखाना स्टूडेंट्स' यूनियन बॉडी NIT सिलचर में छात्रों की समग्र गतिविधियों को देखने वाली आधिकारिक बॉडी है। इसके सदस्य संस्थान में समस्त छात्र समुदाय द्वारा एक उचित चुनाव प्रणाली के तहत आधिकारिक रूप से चुने जाते हैं।

    1. जिमखाना काउंसिल जिमखाना की सभी गतिविधियों का समन्वय करती है, जैसे बजट बनाना, वित्तीय नियंत्रण लागू करना, पुरस्कारों की घोषणा करना और उन्हें स्थापित करना।
    2. यह किसी भी उप-समितियों, क्लबों/शेल्स या समाजों का गठन और निगरानी करती है या जब आवश्यक हो तो मौजूदा समितियों को समाप्त करती है, और जब आवश्यक हो तो सक्षम प्राधिकरण की मंजूरी से।
    3. इसके तीन प्रमुख विभाग हैं: सांस्कृतिक समिति, खेल समिति और छात्रावास मामलों की समिति।
    4. अपनी कार्यकाल के अंत में, जिमखाना काउंसिल अपनी गतिविधियों और खाता विवरण का वार्षिक रिपोर्ट तैयार करती है।

    फुटबॉल, जो संस्थान में सबसे अधिक पहुंच योग्य खेलों में से एक है, ने सबसे अधिक टूर्नामेंटों की मेज़बानी की है, जिनमें इंटर-एनआईटी और इंट्रा एनआईटीएस टूर्नामेंट शामिल हैं।

    एनआईटी सिलचर भी IIT गुवाहाटी स्पोर्ट्स मीट में भाग लेता है जो अलचेरिंगा के दौरान आयोजित होता है।

    बास्केटबॉल

    धीरे-धीरे लेकिन निश्चित रूप से बास्केटबॉल खेल भारतीय घरों में अपनी तेज़ गति वाली खेल शैली के लिए प्रसिद्ध हो रहा है, और NIT सिलचर इस उत्साह को खिलाड़ियों में पहचानता है और उन्हें खेल को नई ऊँचाइयों तक ले जाने के लिए प्रेरित करता है। NIT सिलचर में आयोजित होने वाले टूर्नामेंट और प्रमुख अभ्यास सत्र निम्नलिखित हैं-

    लॉन टेनिस एक ऐसा खेल है जिस पर संस्थान हाल ही में सबसे अधिक काम कर रहा है और बहुत जल्दी यह संस्थान Lawn Tennis प्रेमियों का हब बन जाएगा। NIT सिलचर में आयोजित प्रतियोगिताएँ निम्नलिखित हैं-

    NIT सिलचर अपने इनडोर खेलों में सभी क्षेत्रों में प्रतिभाओं का दावा करता है। इसे 4 प्रमुख इनडोर खेलों में बाँटा गया है और NIT सिलचर इन सभी खेलों में अपनी सफलता का गर्व कर सकता है।

    पर्वतारोहण और ट्रैकिंग

    NIT सिलचर साहसिक खेलों के प्रेमियों के लिए एक बेहतरीन जगह है, क्योंकि यह पर्वत और ट्रैकिंग क्लब को पूरे दिल से समर्थन करता है। यह पर्वतारोहियों और उन लोगों की बढ़ती रुचि को बढ़ावा देता है जो पहाड़ों के रहस्यमय क्षेत्रों को चुनौती देना चाहते हैं।

    कबड्डी और खो-खो

    NIT सिलचर कबड्डी और खो-खो में बहुत समृद्ध खेल संस्कृति का दावा करता है, जिसमें एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अनुमोदित मिट्टी का कोर्ट है, और नियमित रूप से इंटर हॉस्टल और इंटर प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की जाती हैं। एक कॉलेज कबड्डी टीम विशेष रूप से तैयार की जाती है और विभिन्न इंटर कॉलेज प्रतियोगिताओं जैसे इंटर-NIT स्पोर्ट्स मीट में कॉलेज का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए तैयार की जाती है, जहाँ टीम के सदस्य कॉलेज के सर्वश्रेष्ठ कबड्डी खिलाड़ियों में से चयनित होते हैं। जिमखाना स्टूडेंट्स यूनियन बॉडी के हॉकी और कबड्डी सचिव के नेतृत्व में नियमित कबड्डी सत्र आयोजित किए जाते हैं।

    कॉलेज टीम एक अच्छी तरह से तैयार और कठोर प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त टीम है, जो एक शौकिया स्तर पर है, जिसमें अच्छे रेडर्स, डिफेंडर्स और ऑल-राउंडर्स शामिल हैं। पहले वर्ष के छात्रों को खेलों की बुनियादी बातें सिखाई जाती हैं और नियमित अंतराल पर अभ्यास मैच आयोजित किए जाते हैं, ताकि खेलों में छात्रों की वृद्धि का मूल्यांकन किया जा सके।

    एथलेटिक्स और जिम

    NIT सिलचर का एक बहुत ही जीवंत क्लब है इसका एथलेटिक्स और जिम्नास्टिक्स क्लब, जो वर्कआउट और ट्रैक एंड फील्ड से संबंधित खेलों पर कई रोमांचक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करता है। यह क्लब फिटनेस कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है, जैसे बॉडी बिल्डिंग प्रतियोगिता, पावरलिफ्टिंग, और आर्म रेसलिंग, साथ ही एथलेटिक्स कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करता है जैसे दौड़, मैराथन, भाला फेंकना, शॉट पुट फेंकना, डिस्कस फेंकना और साइक्लिंग; सालभर। हाल ही में, इस क्लब ने कैंपस में योग प्रशिक्षण शुरू किया है, जिससे बहुत सारे छात्रों ने भाग लिया।

    इंटर NIT स्पोर्ट्स मीट

    इंटर NIT शतरंज और टेबल टेनिस प्रतियोगिता 2015 का आयोजन NIT सिलचर में 16 अक्टूबर से 18 अक्टूबर के बीच हुआ था। उद्घाटन समारोह ने कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की और इंटर-NIT जैसे कार्यक्रमों के लिए उद्घाटन समारोह को बड़े पैमाने पर आयोजित किया गया था। कई NITs ने लड़कों और लड़कियों की श्रेणियों में खेलों में भाग लिया। टेबल टेनिस के लिए श्रेणी को और भी विभाजित किया गया था - सिंगल्स और टीम इवेंट। कुल 15 NIT टीमों ने टेबल टेनिस टूर्नामेंट में भाग लिया और 12 टीमों ने शतरंज प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया। निम्नलिखित हैं कार्यक्रमों के विजेता-

    लड़कों की श्रेणी में विजेता SVNIT सूरत से था, उसके बाद MANIT भोपाल और NIT कालीकट। लड़कियों की श्रेणी में विजेता NIT सिलचर से था, उसके बाद SVNIT सूरत और NIT रायपुर।

    टेबल टेनिस

    लड़कों की सिंगल श्रेणी में विजेता MANIT भोपाल से था, उसके बाद MNNIT इलाहाबाद। लड़कियों की सिंगल श्रेणी में विजेता NIT दुर्गापुर से थी, उसके बाद SVNIT सूरत। लड़कों की टीम इवेंट श्रेणी में विजेता MNNIT इलाहाबाद से था, उसके बाद NIT सिलचर और MANIT भोपाल। लड़कियों की टीम इवेंट श्रेणी में विजेता NIT दुर्गापुर से थी, उसके बाद SVNIT सूरत और NIT अगरतला।

    Obiettivo NIT सिलचर का आधिकारिक फोटोग्राफी क्लब है, जो जिमखाना के सर्वोच्च निकाय के तहत कार्य करता है। यह नाम जैसा रचनात्मक है, Obiettivo इतालवी में लेंस के लिए है। वर्तमान में क्लब सचिव प्रमुख, साजल गुप्ता के मार्गदर्शन में चल रहा यह क्लब एक आशाजनक भविष्य रखता है। 5 सितंबर 2010 को पुनः खोले जाने के बाद से, यह क्लब उत्कृष्टता की ऊंचाइयों को छू रहा है। क्लब को जिमखाना कार्यक्रमों जैसे टेक्नोएसीस और इंकैंडसेंस, साथ ही फोटो टूर और फोटो वॉक के कवर करने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है।

    मंथन'17, हिंदी भाषा के प्रति सम्मान को प्रदर्शित करने वाला एक कार्यक्रम था, जो 14 सितंबर 2017 को NIT सिलचर में आयोजित किया गया था। इसका उद्देश्य NIT परिवार में हिंदी संस्कृति के प्रति श्रद्धा को बढ़ावा देना था। इस युग में जब यह संस्कृति विदेशी प्रभावों के बढ़ते हुए अतिक्रमण से बचने की कोशिश कर रही है, NIT सिलचर के छात्रों ने यह संकल्प लिया कि वे हिंदी संस्कृति की प्राचीनता को बनाए रखेंगे और उसे मजबूत करेंगे।

    पूर्व छात्रों की बैठक

    पूर्व छात्रों की बैठक'17 एक भावनात्मक कार्यक्रम था, जिसमें पुराने छात्रों के साथ मिलने और पुनः मिलकर उत्सव मनाने का एक अवसर मिला। NIT सिलचर का परंपरा है कि वह अपने पूर्व छात्रों का स्वागत 25 साल के अंतराल के बाद करता है, इसलिए इस बार की छठी बैठक 1992 के बैच के लिए समर्पित थी।

    स्वतंत्रता दिवस

    NIT सिलचर में देशभक्ति की भावना से ओतप्रोत छात्रों ने 69वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस को बड़े जोश और उत्साह के साथ मनाया। तिरंगा ध्वज हमारे निदेशक महोदय ने फहराया, इसके बाद उनकी प्रेरणादायक भाषण हुआ। इसके बाद NCC कैडेट्स की शानदार परेड हुई, जिसने समन्वय का अद्वितीय उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया।

    रवींद्रनाथ ठाकुर स्मृति दिवस

    ILLUMINITS ने रवींद्रनाथ ठाकुर स्मृति दिवस का आयोजन किया, जो रवींद्रनाथ ठाकुर की 76वीं पुण्यतिथि पर 7 अगस्त 2017 को मनाया गया। यह महान कवि की उदात्त मूल्यों को सभी में समाहित करने और नई पीढ़ी को उनकी प्रसिद्ध कविताओं और गीतों से परिचित कराने का प्रयास था। इस कार्यक्रम में रवींद्र संगीत प्रतियोगिता, छात्रों द्वारा नृत्य प्रदर्शन, रवींद्रनाथ की कविताओं और गीतों की वाचन प्रतियोगिता, और इंग्लिश, हिंदी और बांगला में कविता और गद्य लेखन प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। यह कार्यक्रम सफलता पूर्वक संपन्न हुआ और सभी ने इसकी सराहना की।

    जनरल फ्रेशर्स

    Gymkhana Union Body द्वारा नए छात्रों का स्वागत करने के लिए एक शानदार और अद्भुत रात का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम ने छात्रों के प्रदर्शन से उत्साह और आनंद का अंबार लगा दिया। सबसे प्रतीक्षित "Mr. & Miss Fresher's" प्रतियोगिता भी उसी दिन आयोजित की गई।

    रक्षाबंधन

    इस पारंपरिक पर्व के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए, रक्षाबंधन उत्सव का आयोजन 30 अगस्त को किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य इस अवसर के वास्तविक महत्व को सभी को बताना था। माननीय निदेशक महोदय, प्रोफेसर एनवी देशपांडे ने सही तौर पर बताया कि रक्षाबंधन केवल भाई-बहन के रिश्ते तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि इसका यह भी अर्थ है कि मजबूत व्यक्ति कमजोर को सभी बुराइयों से बचाए।

    प्रोफेसर मिश्रा ने 1991 में डिब्रूगढ़ विश्वविद्यालय के जोहराट इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज से मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग में बी.ई. किया, 1996 में भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान दिल्ली से ऊर्जा अध्ययन में एम.टेक. किया, और 2004 में भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान रुड़की से थर्मल इंजीनियरिंग में पीएच.डी. की। उन्होंने 1992 में राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान सिलचर में मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग में फैकल्टी के रूप में कार्य करना शुरू किया। उन्होंने 1992 से 2003 तक NIT सिलचर में लेक्चरर के रूप में, 2004 से 2009 तक सहायक/संबद्ध प्रोफेसर के रूप में और 2010 से वर्तमान तक प्रोफेसर के रूप में सेवा दी। वे भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा संघ और एसोसिएशन फॉर एडवांसिंग मोबिलिटी लैंड सी एयर एंड स्पेस (SAEINDIA) के सदस्य हैं।

    प्रोफेसर मिश्रा ने 1991 में डिब्रूगढ़ विश्वविद्यालय के जोहराट इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज से मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग में बी.ई. किया, 1996 में भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान दिल्ली से ऊर्जा अध्ययन में एम.टेक. किया, और 2004 में भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान रुड़की से थर्मल इंजीनियरिंग में पीएच.डी. की। उन्होंने 1992 में राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान सिलचर में मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग में फैकल्टी के रूप में कार्य करना शुरू किया। उन्होंने 1992 से 2003 तक NIT सिलचर में लेक्चरर के रूप में, 2004 से 2009 तक सहायक/संबद्ध प्रोफेसर के रूप में और 2010 से वर्तमान तक प्रोफेसर के रूप में सेवा दी। वे भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा संघ और एसोसिएशन फॉर एडवांसिंग मोबिलिटी लैंड सी एयर एंड स्पेस (SAEINDIA) के सदस्य हैं।

    1. Dean Students’ Welfare Gymkhana के पदेन अध्यक्ष होते हैं।
    2. अध्यक्ष यह सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि Gymkhana के सभी रिकॉर्ड सही तरीके से Gymkhana कार्यालय द्वारा रखे जाएं।
    3. अध्यक्ष के पास Gymkhana और उनके सभी खेल और उपकरणों का नियंत्रण होगा।
    4. अध्यक्ष के पास Gymkhana से संबंधित सभी मामलों में सर्वोच्च अधिकार होगा (यानी, राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, सिलचर के छात्र)।
    5. अध्यक्ष केवल Gymkhana के उपाध्यक्ष से परामर्श करेंगे और केवल उपाध्यक्ष द्वारा या उनके द्वारा प्रेषित याचिकाओं को स्वीकार करेंगे। विशेष मामलों में, General Secretary (Gymkhana) राष्ट्रपति की पूरी विवेकाधिकार शक्ति का प्रयोग कर सकते हैं। हालांकि, अध्यक्ष अपनी इच्छा अनुसार GC के किसी भी सदस्य (सहित गैर-मतदाता सदस्य) से परामर्श कर सकते हैं।

    टेक्नोइसीस (Tecnoesis)

    टेक्नोइसीस, पूर्वोत्तर भारत का सबसे बड़ा और अत्यधिक प्रत्याशित टेक्नो-मैनेजमेंट फेस्ट में से एक है। इसमें देशभर से प्रतिष्ठित मेहमानों द्वारा इंटरैक्टिव लेक्चर सत्र आयोजित किए जाते हैं, साथ ही नवीनतम तकनीकों पर आधारित विशिष्ट तकनीकी कार्यशालाएँ भी होती हैं। टेक्नोइसीस में कई तकनीकी प्रदर्शनियाँ भी आयोजित की जाती हैं जो आगंतुकों को नई और उभरती हुई तकनीकों की गहरी समझ प्रदान करती हैं। इसके अलावा, टेक्नोइसीस 2015 में 'टेक्नो-पार्क' की शुरुआत की गई, जहाँ आज के विचारों को कल की संभावनाओं से जोड़ा गया। देशभर से निवेशकों को आमंत्रित किया जाता है और शुरुआती निवेश हासिल करने का अवसर प्रदान किया जाता है।

    साथ ही, छात्रों को प्रेरित करने के लिए सर अभयनंद, सर चंचल राणा और वैज्ञानिक (डीआरडीओ) श्री सुखेंदु शर्मा जैसी प्रसिद्ध हस्तियों के प्रेरणादायक सत्र आयोजित किए जाते हैं। फेस्ट का समापन 'स्पार्क्स' नामक संगीत रात के साथ हुआ, जहाँ प्रसिद्ध बैंड्स ने अपनी शानदार प्रस्तुतियाँ दीं।

    एनआईटी सिलचर का सबसे बड़ा और बहुप्रतीक्षित सांस्कृतिक सप्ताह, इनकंडेसेन्स, एक शानदार उत्सव का मंच है। यह उत्तर-पूर्व के प्रतिभाशाली लोगों को खोजने, प्रोत्साहित करने और विकसित करने के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
    इस फेस्ट में कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं, जैसे कि-
    डेप्राडोर: जहाँ पूरे भारत से कुशल वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगी विजेता बनने के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करते हैं।
    ग्लिटराटी: फैशन प्रेमियों के लिए एक विशेष फैशन शो।
    रज़मटाज़: सिलचर और आसपास के स्कूलों के छात्रों के लिए एक अनोखा मुकाबला।
    इनकंडेसेन्स हर साल नए और रचनात्मक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत करता है, जिसमें कवि सम्मेलन, स्टैंड-अप कॉमेडी और नुक्कड़ नाटक जैसी प्रस्तुतियाँ शामिल होती हैं।
    फेस्ट का मुख्य आकर्षण थंडरमार्च है, जिसमें पापोन, बैजू धर्मजन, जोनिता गांधी और मोनाली ठाकुर जैसे कलाकारों ने प्रस्तुति दी है।

    इंडी लेक

    इंडी लेक दो दिवसीय संगीत उत्सव है। पहले दिन 'वॉइस ऑफ इनकंड' आयोजित किया जाता है, जो एकल गायन प्रतियोगिता है। दूसरे दिन 'इंडी लेक अनप्लग्ड' होता है, जहाँ बैंड्स केवल ध्वनिक (Acoustic) संगीत प्रस्तुत करते हैं।

    पारबोन

    पारबोन एक छात्र-चालित रचनात्मक कार्यक्रम है, जो छात्रों को उनकी योग्यता, कौशल और क्षमताओं को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करता है। यह आयोजन विभिन्न मानसिक और तार्किक कौशल को परखता है और छात्र इसमें अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करते हैं।

    पोसुआ

    पोसुआ असम की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत पर आधारित एक सांस्कृतिक सप्ताहांत है। यह आयोजन बोहाग बिहू के मौसम में किया जाता है, जो हिंदू सौर कैलेंडर की शुरुआत का प्रतीक है।
    यह एक आनंददायक दिन होता है, जिसमें मनोरंजन और स्वादिष्ट व्यंजन शामिल होते हैं। इस आयोजन में प्रसिद्ध गायक, जैसे दीक्षु, को आमंत्रित किया जाता है, जो एनआईटी सिलचर परिसर में बिहू उत्सव को और भी उल्लासमय बना देते हैं।

    सुविधाएँ

    असम की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता के बीच, राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, सिलचर का लगभग 600 एकड़ का विशाल परिसर है। हरियाली और झीलें इस परिसर की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता को बढ़ाती हैं। शिक्षा, सह-पाठयक्रम गतिविधियों आदि को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एनआईटी सिलचर ने 2002 से अपनी सुविधाओं में बहुत विकास किया है। आज, यह एक अच्छी तरह से सुसज्जित और बनाए रखा परिसर है, जिसमें आने वाले दिनों में आशाजनक विकास होने की उम्मीद है।

    शैक्षणिक और सामान्य सुविधाएँ

    संस्थान में आधिकारिक काम के लिए एक प्रशासनिक ब्लॉक है। इसमें विभिन्न तकनीकी विभागों के साथ-साथ सामान्य अध्ययन के लिए अच्छी तरह से निर्मित व्याख्यान कक्षाएँ हैं। इसमें रसायन विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला, भौतिकी प्रयोगशाला, इंजीनियरिंग ग्राफिक्स प्रयोगशाला आदि जैसे व्यावहारिक अध्ययन के लिए पूरी तरह सुसज्जित और कुशल प्रयोगशालाएँ हैं। साथ ही संस्थान के विभिन्न विभागों की अपनी प्रयोगशालाएँ और कार्यशालाएँ हैं जैसे कि मैकेनिकल वर्कशॉप, सुपरकंप्यूटिंग सेंटर, आदि। हमारे अपने स्वयं के अनुसंधान संवर्धन सेल और इंडोवेशन लैब के साथ, हमारे छात्रों के आकर्षक दिमागों को भरपूर अवसर उपलब्ध कराए जाते हैं। कॉलेज अपने छात्रों को उनके परिवहन के लिए निःशुल्क बस और वैन सेवाओं के रूप में उचित परिवहन सेवाएँ प्रदान करता है। इसके अलावा, परिसर के अंदर भारतीय स्टेट बैंक की एक पूर्ण विकसित कोर बैंकिंग शाखा भी है।

    खेल

    फिटनेस और खेल अनुभाग की बात करें तो, हमारे संस्थान में जिमखाना छात्र संघ निकाय और NITS अधिकारियों के सहयोग से बनाए रखा गया एक अच्छी तरह से सुसज्जित और सुसज्जित जिम है। छात्रों के लिए फुटबॉल, क्रिकेट, कबड्डी, खो-खो और हॉकी जैसे विभिन्न खेलों के लिए आवश्यकतानुसार अच्छी तरह से बनाए गए खेल के मैदान और किट उपलब्ध हैं। परिसर के भीतर बास्केटबॉल, वॉलीबॉल और बैडमिंटन के लिए हार्ड कोर्ट हैं। एनआईटी सिलचर के छात्र समुदाय के लिए इनडोर गतिविधियों का केंद्र छात्र गतिविधि केंद्र है, जिसे एसएसी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है; जो टेबल टेनिस, बैडमिंटन और बॉक्सिंग जैसे इनडोर खेलों में सुविधाओं का प्रतीक है। संस्थान इनडोर और आउटडोर खेलों के लिए एक नया ग्रीन एनर्जी आधारित खेल परिसर भी बना रहा है, जिसमें छात्रों को विभिन्न खेलों और खेलों के लिए अत्याधुनिक सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराई जाएँगी। यहाँ भी, इन अति सक्रिय खेल केंद्रों को बनाए रखने की जिम्मेदारी जिमखाना छात्र संघ निकाय के कंधों पर है।
